INK CROWN is not a place to write your book — it is a recognition contest for stories already being written on VoomComix. Your story must be published and actively updating on your VoomComix Writer Dashboard. Register it here so our editorial team knows which story you're putting forward. You must upload at least one new chapter every week throughout the contest window — consistency is part of what we judge.

You must have an active writer account on VoomComix with at least one published story. Age 18 or above.

Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali — any language works. Write in whatever feels natural to you.

All three formats accepted. Enter with whichever genre and format your story belongs to.

Contest Rules

Read these carefully before registering your story.

At Least 80% Original Content

Your story must be genuine human-written work. AI tools may only be used for grammar correction — not for generating plot, dialogue, or any narrative content.

Full AI Story = Instant Rejection

Minimum 10 Chapters — All Formats

Novel, Manga, and Comic entries must all have at least 10 chapters published on VoomComix before the June 30 deadline to be eligible for judging.

Weekly Chapter Upload — Mandatory

During the contest window (May 1 – June 30), you must upload at least one chapter every week. Consistent uploading shows commitment to your readers and your craft.

One Story Per Writer

Each writer may only register one story for INK CROWN. Multiple registrations from the same writer will result in all entries being disqualified.

Exclusive to VoomComix Only

The story you register must exist only on VoomComix. If the same story is on Wattpad, AO3, or any other platform, it is ineligible.

Cross-platform = Disqualified

No Plagiarism or Story Theft

You can only register a story you wrote yourself. Stealing another writer's story results in permanent disqualification from all future VoomComix contests.

Story Theft = Permanent Ban

Zero Tolerance for Cheating

Fake reads, inflated engagement, plagiarism, AI-written content, or any form of manipulation will result in immediate removal from the contest.

Any Cheating = Instant Removal

Judging Criteria

Originality 40% + Writing Quality 30% + Reader Appeal 30% = 100% of your final score. Every eligible entry gets equal attention from our editorial team.

Yes, completely free. There is no entry fee, no hidden charges, and no premium tier. VoomComix wants every talented writer — regardless of their financial situation — to have a fair shot at this.
All formats — Novel, Manga, and Comic — require a minimum of 10 chapters published on VoomComix before the June 30 deadline. You also need to upload at least one new chapter every week during the contest window. Quality and consistency both matter.
Absolutely. Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali — any language is accepted. VoomComix celebrates linguistic diversity. Write in the language that comes most naturally to you — that is where your best writing will come from.
Only in a very limited way. You may use AI tools to fix grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors — that is it. Using AI to write plot, generate dialogue, create scenes, or produce any narrative content is strictly prohibited. Stories found to be substantially AI-generated will be instantly rejected.
Once your story is live on VoomComix and readers start viewing it, ad revenue begins to generate. Payments are made monthly. For contest winners, the enhanced revenue share (65%, 70%, or 75% depending on placement) kicks in from the moment of onboarding after the July 10 announcement.
Every INK CROWN winner gets a dedicated page on VoomComix — permanently. It includes your photo, bio, story cover and link, your quote about your writing journey, and your contest rank with badge. It stays live forever as VoomComix grows. You can share the link anywhere — social media, LinkedIn, your portfolio.
No. The story you register for INK CROWN must be exclusive to VoomComix. If the same story exists on Wattpad, AO3, Instagram, or any other platform, it is not eligible for the contest.
Winners will be officially announced on voomcomix.in on July 10, 2026. A shortlist will be published on July 7. All shortlisted writers will receive an email notification. Winning authors will be contacted directly for onboarding, and their Spotlight pages will go live on announcement day.
