Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Voomcomix ("we", "us", "our"). Voomcomix is India's free platform for original Manga, Comics and Novels. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Voomcomix website and all related services.

By creating an account or using Voomcomix in any way, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These Terms apply to all users including readers, writers and visitors.

To use Voomcomix you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the platform and to create an account.

By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you are eligible to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your country or region.

4. User Accounts

Creating an Account

You may register as a Reader or a Writer. Each account requires a valid email address, a unique username and a password. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

Account Responsibility

• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must not share your account with others or allow others to use your credentials.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
• Voomcomix is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized account access.

Username Policy

• Usernames must be unique and cannot impersonate another person or brand.
• Usernames containing offensive, hateful or misleading words will be removed.
• Voomcomix reserves the right to change or reclaim a username at any time.

Account Verification

All accounts must be verified via a one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered email address. Unverified accounts may have limited access to platform features.

5. Reader Terms

As a Reader on Voomcomix, you agree to the following:

• All content on Voomcomix is free to read. You will never be charged to read any book or chapter.
• You may follow, like, review and comment on books. All interactions must be respectful and genuine.
• You may not reproduce, copy or redistribute any content from the platform without the explicit written permission of the author and Voomcomix.
• Reviews and comments must not contain hate speech, harassment, spam or misinformation.
• Fake or manipulated reviews (including self-reviewing your own books or paying others for reviews) are strictly prohibited.
• You must not use automated tools, bots or scripts to inflate views, likes, follows or any other metrics.

6. Writer Terms

Publishing on Voomcomix

As a Writer, you are responsible for all content you publish. By publishing on Voomcomix, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute and promote your content on the platform.

Content Formats

Scheduling & Publishing

• Chapters may be published immediately or scheduled for a future date and time.
• Once published, chapters can be edited or rewritten but not deleted.
• Once a book is created it cannot be deleted — to protect readers who have invested in following the story.

7. Content Rules

All content published on Voomcomix — including books, chapters, cover images, usernames, bios and comments — must comply with these rules:

Prohibited Content

• Sexual content involving minors in any form — zero tolerance, immediate permanent ban.
• Graphic non-consensual sexual content.
• Content that promotes, glorifies or incites violence, terrorism or hate crimes.
• Hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, nationality or disability.
• Content that violates the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Spam, advertisements or promotional content unrelated to the story.
• Content that is deliberately misleading or constitutes misinformation.
• Personal information of real individuals published without their consent.

Mature Content (18+)

Mature or adult content is permitted only when the book is correctly marked as "18+" at the time of creation. All 18+ content must comply with applicable laws. Voomcomix reserves the right to reclassify or remove content at any time.

Reporting Content

If you encounter content that violates these rules, use the Report button on the book or chapter page, or email help@voomcomix.in. We investigate all reports and respond within 7 working days.

8. Monetization

Writers may apply for monetization once their book meets all eligibility requirements. See our Monetization page for full details.

Eligibility Requirements

• 5,000 or more followers on the book
• 20,000 or more total views
• 50 or more positive reviews (3 stars or above)
• At least 80% original content (maximum 20% AI for grammar/editing)
• Book published exclusively on Voomcomix

Revenue Split

Payment Terms

• Payments are made monthly to the writer's registered bank account or UPI ID.
• Minimum transfer threshold is $10 USD. Balances below this roll over to the next month.
• Writers must add bank details in Settings before payments can be processed.
• Voomcomix may withhold payment if there is evidence of fraud, metric manipulation or policy violation.

Resubmission Policy

If a monetization application is rejected, the writer may resubmit up to 3 times after addressing the stated reasons. After 3 rejections, the book is permanently ineligible for monetization.

9. Contracts & Deals

Writers may apply for book adaptation contracts through the Contract page. Contracts cover book-to-movie adaptations, licensing, merchandise and other commercial uses of the work.

• All contracts are negotiated by Voomcomix on behalf of the writer.
• The writer receives 70% of the deal value. Voomcomix receives 30%.
• All contract applications are reviewed within 24 hours.
• Voomcomix does not guarantee that any book will receive a deal.
• Writers retain full ownership of their intellectual property at all times.

10. Intellectual Property

Writer's Rights

Writers retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to all original content they publish on Voomcomix. Publishing on Voomcomix does not transfer ownership to us.

By publishing, you grant Voomcomix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, promote and archive your content on the platform and in marketing materials.

Voomcomix's Rights

The Voomcomix name, logo, platform design, code and all original content created by Voomcomix staff are the exclusive property of Voomcomix. You may not copy, reproduce or use these without written permission.

DMCA / Takedown Requests

If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed on Voomcomix, email help@voomcomix.in with evidence. We will review and respond within 7 working days.

11. Bans & Termination

Account Bans

Voomcomix reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms. The following result in immediate permanent ban with no appeal:

• Plagiarism — copying content from any source
• 100% AI-generated content submitted as original
• Sexual content involving minors
• Metric manipulation using bots or automated tools
• Harassment, threats or abuse directed at other users or staff

Book Bans

Individual books may be banned without banning the writer's account for content violations that are isolated to that book. A banned book is removed from public view but the writer's account remains active.

Appeals

For non-permanent bans, writers may appeal by emailing help@voomcomix.in with a detailed explanation. Voomcomix will review and respond within 7 working days. Decisions on permanent bans are final and cannot be appealed.

Account Deletion

You may request account deletion by emailing help@voomcomix.in. Note that published books cannot be deleted even after account deletion, to protect existing readers.

12. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our full Privacy Policy explains exactly what data we collect, how we use it and your rights.

In summary: We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform. We never sell your data to third parties. Bank details are encrypted and only used for payment processing. You have the right to access, correct or delete your data at any time.

13. Disclaimer

Voomcomix provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation or that all content is accurate or appropriate.

Voomcomix is not responsible for the content published by writers. All content is the sole responsibility of the writer who published it. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from use of the platform or reliance on content found on it.

Voomcomix reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the platform at any time without notice.

14. Changes to These Terms

Voomcomix may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will post an announcement on the platform and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of Voomcomix after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the platform.
