Terms & Conditions

Voomcomix ("Platform", "we", "us", "our") is an online content platform founded in 2024 by Mr. Imtiyaz Sheikh, designed to enable Indian writers to publish original novels, manga and comics in all Indian languages, and to allow readers to access this content for free.

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Voomcomix platform, including all features, tools, dashboards, and services available at imtiyazsheikh-voomcomix.github.io/Voomcomix and any associated domains.

By creating an account, publishing content, reading content, or applying for any service on Voomcomix, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. These Terms apply equally to all users — readers, writers and administrators.

All content on Voomcomix is completely free to read. We do not charge readers any fees, require any subscription, or lock any chapters behind a paywall. This commitment is permanent and will never change.

Readers may create a free account to access features such as bookmarks, likes, comments, review submission and reading history. Account creation requires a valid email address and OTP verification.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• 18+ content is accessible only to users who confirm they are 18 or above.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate another user.

• Do not post hateful, abusive or harassing comments.
• Do not post false or misleading reviews.
• Do not reproduce or redistribute any content from the Platform.
• Do not use automated bots to inflate view counts or likes.
• Do not attempt to impersonate writers or other users.

Writers may publish three types of content on Voomcomix. Each type has specific format and length requirements.

Note: Length requirements for Short/Medium/Long apply only to books submitted for commercial sale approval. Monetization eligibility has separate requirements defined in Section 5.

When publishing on Voomcomix, writers must follow these rules at all times:

• Original Story Required: The story idea, plot, characters and main narrative must be your own original creation.
• Exclusive Publishing: To qualify for monetization, your book must be published exclusively on Voomcomix and not on any other platform simultaneously.
• Mandatory Book Cover: Every book must have a relevant cover image that accurately represents the story.
• Accurate Metadata: Book type, genre, age rating, language and tags must be accurate and not misleading.
• Age Rating: Books with adult content (18+) must be correctly rated. Mislabeling adult content is a serious violation.
• No Deletion: Once a book is created, it cannot be deleted. Chapters may be rewritten or updated. This protects reader investment in your story.
• Chapter Rewriting: Writers may edit or rewrite any chapter at any time, even after publishing.
• Scheduling: Chapters may be scheduled for future publishing. Scheduled chapters can be changed or cancelled before they go live.

• Using AI to generate the main story, plot or characters is strictly prohibited.
• Books where 80%+ content is AI-generated will be permanently removed.
• Writers found using 100% AI content will be permanently banned.
• AI-generated books will never be approved for monetization.

To apply for monetization, a book must meet all of the following requirements:

• 5,000 or more followers on that specific book.
• 20,000 or more total views on that specific book.
• 50 or more good reviews on that specific book.
• 80% or more original content — self-declared and subject to verification.
• 20% or less AI usage — strictly for grammar and editing only.
• The book must be published exclusively on Voomcomix.

Once all requirements are met, the writer may submit a monetization application from their Writer Dashboard. Voomcomix will review the application, verify originality and approve or reject within a reasonable time.

• Payments are processed monthly.
• A minimum balance of $10 USD must be accumulated before a transfer is made.
• Balances below $10 roll over to the next month.
• Writers must provide valid bank account details before receiving payment.
• Voomcomix is not responsible for incorrect bank details provided by the writer.
• Earnings are displayed in the Writer Dashboard in USD.
• Voomcomix reserves the right to withhold payment if policy violations are discovered.

After a monetization application is submitted, Voomcomix will:

• Review the book for originality and policy compliance.
• If the AI usage appears excessive, the writer will be asked to improve the content — up to 3 times.
• After 3 requests to improve with no satisfactory result, the application will be permanently rejected.
• If the book is found to be plagiarised, the account will be permanently banned.
• Approved books receive a monetization badge and begin earning from the next monthly cycle.

If a third party (such as a YouTube channel, production company or digital platform) wishes to adapt or use a Voomcomix book, they must apply through the official Get Contract page.

• The applicant must provide the Book Name and Unique Book ID.
• The applicant must state the platform and purpose of the adaptation.
• All contract negotiations are conducted via email with Voomcomix.
• The writer of the book will be consulted and must agree before any deal is finalised.

All deal revenues follow the 70/30 split: 70% to the writer, 30% to Voomcomix. Both parties must sign a contract before any use of the book's content begins. Unauthorised use of any Voomcomix book is a violation of copyright law.

Writers retain full ownership of all original content they publish on Voomcomix. Publishing on Voomcomix does not transfer copyright to the platform. Voomcomix is granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and promote the content on the platform.

All design, branding, logos, interfaces and platform features of Voomcomix are the intellectual property of Voomcomix and may not be copied, reproduced or used without written permission.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or republish any content from Voomcomix — whether written, illustrated or otherwise — without explicit written consent from the original writer and Voomcomix.

The following types of content are strictly prohibited on Voomcomix. Publishing, attempting to publish, or promoting such content will result in immediate removal and account action:

Voomcomix reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms. When a ban is issued, the writer will be notified with the reason. The following actions result in immediate permanent ban:

• Plagiarism — confirmed copying of another person's work.
• Publishing prohibited content as defined in Section 8.
• Fraud — creating fake views, followers or reviews.
• Using 100% AI-generated content and misrepresenting it as original.
• Attempting to hack, manipulate or abuse the platform in any way.

Voomcomix may remove or hide any book or chapter that violates these Terms without prior notice. The writer will be informed of the reason. Books that are removed for policy violations will not be restored.

Any user may report a book or account that appears to violate these Terms. Reports are reviewed by the Voomcomix admin team. Filing false or malicious reports is itself a violation of these Terms.

Voomcomix collects and stores only the information necessary to operate the platform. This includes your email address, username, reading history and published content. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

• Bank account details (for monetized writers) are stored securely and used only for payment processing.
• Email addresses are used only for account verification, OTP, notifications and payment communication.
• Reading history is used only to improve your personal experience on the platform.
• You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting help@voomcomix.in. Note: published books cannot be deleted per the platform's content permanence policy.

Voomcomix provides a platform for writers to publish their content. The views, opinions and content published by writers are solely their own and do not represent the views of Voomcomix or its team.

• Voomcomix does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform.
• Voomcomix is not responsible for any loss of content due to technical issues. Writers are encouraged to maintain local backups of their work.
• Voomcomix reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any feature of the platform at any time.
• Earnings estimates shown in any promotional material are illustrative only. Actual earnings depend on readership and advertiser rates.

Voomcomix reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. When significant changes are made, users will be notified via the platform's "Let's Update" section and via email for registered users.

Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the platform.
